The seminar for lawyers "The rules of legal ethics as a set of ethical principles of advocacy activities" took place on June 9th in Kyiv Chamber of Commerce. The event was organized by Expert Law Group “Independent Institute of Forensic Expertise”.
The event was timed to coincide with the ninth anniversary of the founding of the Institute, which during its activities in the field of expertise and expert research gained a reputation as not only a competent expert institution, but also the organizer of professional scientific and practical activities in the field of law, which are in demand among lawyers and attorneys.
A welcoming speech were performed by the President of INA "European Arbitration Chamber", the Hennadii Pampukha, director of IIFE Lyudmila Makarenko, a partner of law firm "Gorodissky and Partners" Oleg Zhuhevich, consultant on health and nutritionist Tatiana Protsenko, director of marketing and advertising of TM Lu've Elena Zagny and media representatives.
One of the key themes of the seminar was the question of the ethical principles of lawyers in Ukraine. This topic is very relevant for representatives of legal profession, The lecturer of thhe event, PhD Ludmila Kozhura made a comparative analysis of the rules of legal ethics in Ukraine and the Code of Conduct for European lawyers.
During the event, all participants had an opportunity to ask questions, express their opinions and share their professional experience. The workshop has been certified in accordance with the procedure approved by the Bar Association and received accreditation as measures to improve the training of lawyers.
